My dear, beloved pastor was briefly arrested last week and held overnight in less than ideal circumstances. He is now awaiting several hearings for 10 different cases being brought against him. I so needed Psalm 2.
God is Sovereign over the nations, including the nation I have chosen to make my own. He rules now even though you wouldn't always know it and someday Christ will rule and it will be obvious to all. Even now He is in control no matter how arrogant some rulers may be. There is no need - no good - to rage and plot and conspire.
And yet, blessed are all those who take refuge in Him. I do, sweet Jesus. I do.
